St Saviour’s is a place where questions are welcomed and where people can explore the Christian faith at their own pace.

Christians believe that Jesus is more than an inspiring teacher or an important figure from history.

We believe he is God with us.

His life, death and resurrection reveal God’s love for the world and offer hope, forgiveness and new life to everyone who follows him.

Following Jesus is not about pretending to have everything together.

It is about discovering his grace day by day.

Christianity is not simply about rules or traditions.

It is about a relationship with God.

It is about discovering that you are deeply loved, completely known and never beyond God’s grace.

Millions of people across the world continue to follow Jesus because they have found hope, purpose and peace in him.

We would love to help you discover why.

Prayer is simply talking with God.

You don’t need special words.

You don’t need to be in church.

You don’t even need to be certain God is there.

Prayer can begin with the simplest of words:

“God, if you’re there…”

Wherever you begin, God hears.

The Bible tells the story of God’s relationship with humanity and points us to Jesus.

If you’re new to reading the Bible, we recommend beginning with one of the Gospels, such as Mark or Luke.

Read slowly.

Ask questions.

Think about what you discover about Jesus.

And remember, you don’t have to explore it alone.
