The organ has been completely disassembled and restored to its former glory.
The work was carried out by Henry Willis & Sons Ltd, highly regarded organ builders in Liverpool. The complicated internal system of rods and pulleys has also received hours of attention, with much of this mechanism replaced so that we can look forward to decades of reliable service in the future.
The work was overseen by our former organist (now ordinand) Simon Vivian.
The baton has been handed now to David Carlston Williams.
